At Prentiss every third Thursday of the month our food pantry is open from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.mm and is open to serve you. Not only is food available there are also personal items, based on availability.
Many families have to choose between rent or food. The food pantry alleviates one choice by providing emergency food assistance, providing groceries through a personal touch, and communicating a positive message to each individual and family.
Items that we like to keep on-hand and are always needed are:
Mac-n-Cheese
Peanut Butter
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruits
Cereal
Instant Potatoes
Canned pastas (Ravioli, Beefaroni, etc.)
Pasta/Spaghetti Sauce
Boxed Spaghetti
The church office is open during the week to drop off donated items.
