Local Mission Project
WNC Strong x Mountain Alliance and Mission Local Project
WNC Strong's team is partnering with Mountain Alliance and Mission who is donating six mobile homes to families across Western North Carolina who lost everything during Hurricane Helene. The first home is being completed right here in Franklin, NC, for a single mother whose home was severely damaged in the storm.
Thanks to generous donors, the cost of the mobile homes themselves has already been covered. However, we still need help with transportation, setup, and utility connections. Whether through financial support or volunteer labor, your help can make a real difference. Current needs include:
- Demolition – Amount to be determined
- Transport & Setup – $7000
- Power Connection – $2,500
- Plumbing & Septic – $2,500
- Skirting – $2,500
- Steps & Porches – Donated by Steve Kimsey
- HVAC – Covered by grant funding
If you’re able to contribute or volunteer, we’d love to partner with you to bring these families home.
